Personal Interests: Ravi loves to spend time with his family. Among others, he is currently training to become FAA Certified Private Pilot which will allow him to fly measurement instruments to gather data related to building structure and to develop measures to reduce overall energy use in this changing climate.

He has a B.S. and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and over 23+ years of experience in building energy efficiency research and technology advancement. He is a CEM-Certified Energy Manager, CBEP- Certified Business Energy Professional, CDSM – Certified Demand-Side Management Professional and National Fenestration Rating Council Certified simulator. He is currently a Board of Director National Fenestration Rating Council. He has worked with several countries, India, South Africa and Brazil, research institutes to establish state of art building research laboratories. He has developed and built a state of art Hot box and Solar calorimeter for measuring building component and solar panel energy characteristic, and installed them in India and South Africa under US-DOE program.
